Band Members BIOS:
David Kaffinetti - AKA: "Viv Savage"
Keyboards
Born in Folkestone England. Started classical piano age 5, was bitten by rock and roll bug by age 10, explored jazz at age 12 while also enjoying the great folk music scene in England at that time. Turned professional with the band Rare Bird fall of 1969, was lucky enough to have an international hit with the song Sympathy the following year. Had the privilege of being on Chuck Berry's album, the London Sessions, was invited to join a British rock band while in Los Angeles called Natural Gas. Left that band shortly after joining but decided I liked California and to move here permanently. In 1984 had the good fortune of getting the keyboard players part in the musical cult classic THIS IS SPINAL TAP and was the character Viv Savage. This took place in 1984 and spent that year touring with SPINAL TAP the BAND including a performance on Saturday Night Live. We performed Big Bottom and an out of season ditty called Christmas with the Devil, mind you it was April. Moved to bay area from L.A. in 1984 where he had spent most of his time freelancing with many different bands in many different genres. Currently playing with SEZ-U a mix of original songs of many different genres. Also just finishing up a five song debut EP with rock band, MUTUAL OF ALAMEDA'S WILD KINGDOM. David, loves the bay area music scene as it is the perfect vehicle for his musical spirit.

After high school, played with the Stu Blank Band again with Danny Chauncey on guitar. Later formed Billy Satellite, again along with Danny on Guitar. He has played in many bands including the Alameda All Stars for 15 years and has appeared and been on live shows with the legendary Al Kooper, Brad Gillis, Night Ranger, Tommy Thompson, Alameda All Stars, Eddy Money, Tommy Johnston, Doobie Brothers, Mark McGee, Gregg Allman, Marke Jelly Roll Burgstahler, and various other artists over the past 25 years. Currently co-producing and playing with an Americana trio Luke and Nick James. The biggest passion in his life right now musically is MUTUAL OF ALAMEDA'S WILD KINGDOM. Hard Rock with dynamics, but still Rocking Hard. Fee has recorded 11 studio albums and two live albums as well and has had the good fortune to have worked with great producers such as Keith Olsen, Don Gehman, Jim Gaines and Phil Kaffel. Fee says the production team of Jimmi Ward, bassist co-producer and engineer co-producer Bob Nunes of Hillside Recorders have done an amazing job on the MUTUAL OF ALAMEDA'S WILD KINGDOM debut EP. Great times ahead. Stay tuned.
